04/08/07 - no uploads for ages I know - busy business this stand-up. Got a mention in the Guardian today so thought I should make some sort of effort so here's some stuff.
I just broke my scanner which sucks - here's some odds & sods from the last year but I have ALOT more to scan! yehh.Not to mention I am blogging this years Edinburgh festival but i need to get a new scanner!!

30/05/05 - Well that was a bloody long wait wasn't it? No doubt anyone who's ever been interested in this comic is long gone - and I don't blame you! I'd do the same! Had a bit of damned writers block there which I managed to shift by writing dreary autobiographical comics of my every fucking movement - but it really did the trick. I must admit I'm not writing at nearly the rate any more but I'm sure it's all for a reason. Anyway check out book 9 and the scrapbook. Note the leap in my drawing ability - I now have the ability of a 15 year old with a mild interest in comics.
13/03/05 - NO no updates for YOU but I have manages to finish my comic and it's turned into THREE comics covering 3 different time frames. It goes from shit pencil drawings all the way through to shit pen drawings like magic. After the comix fair is out of the way I'll be back to updating [COUGH!]ly
02/03/05 - YES I know I haven't updated for like a year - desperate to get my comic bok done before the fair - BUT after I have finished it I promise never to do a comic book of old stuff or at least spend as much time doing it. It's awful going through old stuff.
07/02/05 - Check the book 9's on THAT. Couple of new ones in book 9 and a new one in the scrapbook.
04/02/05 - Oh JOY upon JOY upon JOY - the fucking database has packed in after a whopping 2 days of service - back to access then, feck knows what I have done.
03/02/05 - Local girl is proud to announce it's officially 
- YES! Well all the parts I fully control anyway.
01/02/05 - Oh lordy I need a job. Anyway - all you geeks out there will be pleased to note that Local Girl now uses a MySql database! It was fecking seemless too! It actually seems slightly slower but when the punters start coming in BOY will it be able to handle it. Also blog is updated for your amusement.
01/02/05 - YES IT'S HAPPENED! MASSIVE site update today and much more to come. YES - Local Girl is BACK on her shiny new server with WEEKLY updates promised. I have put a whole bunch in book 8 and plenty for the scrapbook
16/01/05 - Hello, I'm happy to say the book is about 30% complete & will be out mid-march. Me and dan have been hard at work colouring & neatening everything - you can see some previews here! In the mean time NO new cartoons. Although I have been drawing them I don't have the time to put them up. Anyway keep those guest drawings coming in!! I love them & there is more here!!
06/01/05 - WOW - got an amazing response for my recent request for an illustrator - the designs are all here!!
03/01/05 - Not going to be any updates for a while as I am busy colouring. I was so chuffed with my front covers I am coloring and redoing a load of stuff. This means no updates for a while I'm afraid. In the meantime PLEASE join my mailing list to find out when this site is updated.
29/12/04 - Working on a big xmas cartoon, not been doing much but look at the purdey colours.
23/12/04 - No toons for the time being but I have now split the site into BOOKS. Still needs a bit of work but it basically means it's alot easier for new visitors to look through all my best(?) toons. All the crap is now in the scrapbook.
15/12/04 - My new scanner is AWFUL, taking it back tomorrow. Few updates for you anyway.
13/12/04 - HELLO, I've had to take down all my work related cartoons & that's all I'm saying.
12/12/04 - PFF there's many reasons this site hasn't been updated. The main one is that burgulars came into MY ROOM and stole my flatmates laptop and my scanner!!
