I've never got so SOAKED as I did last night.
I was cycling accross tower bridge to Andy's house. It was already raining pretty badly by then - thunder and everything! Normally scared of storms and have to hide under a table (shoo! cats!) - but I was feeling brave. it just bucketed down, like a gigantic bath being perpetually emptied onto my head.
It's bizarre how if it's raining just a bit - everyone's really pissed off - but when it's tipping it down everyone has these mad little smiles on their face like "Ohhh - whatever next!"
How come everyone has an ubrella apart from me?? It was boiling hot all day up until around 5 and then it chucked it down! Do people really bring gigantic umbrellas to work on a very hot day? That's just paranoid.
Andy's parents have the most incredible place right in the center of town. It always feels like being on holiday going there as it's like they live in a hotel (of course they weren't there - you'll never see andy & his parents int he same place). It particulary felt like I was in a hotel cause when andy gave me some dry clothes to wear it felt like I was wearing a swimming costume underneath due to the dampness of my underwear.
I can smoke ALL night and not get as stoned as I do from a couple of tokes from an andy spliff, incredible.
Wouldn't the terrorist threat be alot more paletable if we were being terrorised by pirates?

..but maybe we are..?
